What you may not generate with PDFGeny, and what happens if you do.

The short version

Do not use PDFGeny to make documents that deceive people about who they came from, to attack systems, or to generate content that is illegal where you or your users are.

Specifically prohibited

Impersonation. Documents presenting themselves as issued by a company, bank, government body or person you are not authorised to represent — including invoices, receipts, statements and certificates.

Fraudulent records. Fabricated pay stubs, bank statements, utility bills or identity documents intended to be passed off as genuine.

Phishing and credential harvesting, including documents that carry links to such pages.

Attacking third parties. Using the URL renderer to probe, scan or overload systems you do not own.

Circumventing limits. Automated creation of accounts to obtain multiple free quotas.

Malware distribution or documents that exploit PDF reader vulnerabilities.

Enforcement

We suspend keys or accounts that breach these rules. Where the situation is ambiguous and no immediate harm is occurring, we contact you first. Where documents are being used to defraud people, we do not.
