How do I generate a PDF from HTML?

POST your HTML to the PDFGeny API and the response is a finished PDF. Rendering uses headless Chromium, so your CSS, web fonts and page breaks behave exactly as they do in a browser.

What can I use instead of wkhtmltopdf?

wkhtmltopdf is no longer maintained and ships an old WebKit engine. PDFGeny renders with current Chromium through an HTTP API, so there is no binary to install or patch.

How much does PDF generation cost?

The free tier covers 50 documents a month with a watermark. Paid plans start at $9 for 1,000 documents a month, which is $0.009 per document, with no per-seat fees.

Are there ready-made document templates?
